Start selling

Three steps. No inventory purchase first.

Start with a focused assortment rather than importing everything. Products that match your existing customers are usually easier to merchandise and test.

01

Import products

Open Seoulia in Shopify Collective and select the products you want to sell.

Shopify Admin → Apps → Collective → Suppliers → Seoulia → Available
02

Publish to your store

Review product information, set products to Active and publish them to your Online Store.

Products → Imported Seoulia products → Active → Online Store
03

Enable payments

Where eligible, turn on Collective Automatic Payments so supplier payments can be handled by Shopify.

Collective → Suppliers → Seoulia → Payments → Automatic payments ON
Order & payment flow

Know exactly what happens after a sale.

With eligible Collective Automatic Payments, the supplier amount is handled through Shopify. Seoulia begins standard fulfillment after the supplier order is confirmed as Paid.

Step 01 Your customer orders

The customer checks out and pays your Shopify store.

Step 02 Shopify routes the order

The Seoulia portion is created in the Collective supplier workflow.

Step 03 Supplier payment

Where Automatic Payments are eligible and enabled, Shopify attempts to collect Seoulia's product and applicable shipping cost.

Step 04 Seoulia ships

After payment confirmation, Seoulia processes the order and tracking syncs back through Shopify.

PAYMENT PENDING

Fulfillment remains on hold

Check that Automatic Payments are enabled and that sufficient eligible Shopify Payments funds are available. Shopify may automatically retry the debit.

Retailer playbook

From connection to first sale.

Don't import hundreds of SKUs and wait. Build a focused launch, watch what customers respond to, then expand.

DAY 1 Import a focused selection of Seoulia products and make sure they are Active.
DAY 2 Create a dedicated Korean Beauty or K-Beauty collection on your storefront.
DAY 3–7 Feature 3–5 hero products in email, social media, homepage merchandising or paid traffic.
FIRST SALE Confirm the Collective supplier order is Paid. Seoulia handles the supplier fulfillment.
NEXT Expand into adjacent categories based on actual sales and customer interest.
FAQ

Before your first sale.

The practical answers retailers need most.

Do I need to purchase inventory upfront?
No. Products made available to your store through Shopify Collective can be imported without purchasing Seoulia inventory upfront. The supplier portion is handled after an eligible customer order is created.
What does the 40% retailer margin mean?
For eligible products, a 40% retailer margin means the Collective cost is 60% of the retail price. A $100 retail price corresponds to a $60 supplier product cost and $40 gross product margin before your own discounts, payment fees, advertising and other store expenses.
Can I discount Seoulia products?
Yes. You control promotions on your storefront. Your Seoulia Collective cost is not automatically reduced just because you discount the customer-facing price, so always check the remaining margin first.
Who fulfills the order?
Seoulia handles the supplier portion of eligible Collective orders. Do not manually fulfill Seoulia items yourself. Fulfillment and tracking information sync back through Shopify Collective after shipment.
How do Automatic Payments work?
Where both stores are eligible and Automatic Payments are enabled, Shopify attempts to debit Seoulia's product cost and applicable supplier shipping cost from the retailer's Shopify Payments balance. Supplier funds are then handled through Shopify's Collective payment workflow.
What does “Payment pending” mean?
It means the supplier amount has not yet been successfully collected. Check that Automatic Payments are enabled and that sufficient eligible funds are available. When Automatic Payments are active, Shopify may automatically retry payment.
Will Seoulia ship a Payment Pending order?
No. Seoulia's standard Collective process is to begin fulfillment after the supplier order is confirmed as Paid.
How does tracking reach my customer?
When Seoulia fulfills the supplier order, fulfillment details and tracking sync back to your Shopify order. Your store remains the customer-facing retailer and can send the normal shipping confirmation to the customer.
Where are Seoulia products fulfilled from?
Seoulia's K-Beauty orders are processed through our fulfillment network in Seoul, South Korea and shipped internationally according to the destination and applicable shipping settings.
Who should I contact if I need help?
Email info@shopseoulia.com . Include your Shopify store name and Collective order number when contacting us about an order.
Ready to grow

Turn K-Beauty demand into a new revenue stream.

Import a focused assortment, publish it to your store and let Seoulia handle the Korean supply and fulfillment side.

Shopify Collective features, Automatic Payments and eligibility can vary by country, currency and Shopify Payments configuration. “40% retail margin” refers to eligible Seoulia Collective product margin and is not a guarantee of net profit.
